Expression of Interest are invited for Legal and Regulatory Analysis of Venture Capital and Private Equity Ecosystem in Uzbekistan IFC a sister organization of the World Bank and member of the World Bank Group is the largest global development institution focused on supporting the private sector in emerging markets. The specific objective of this assignment in Uzbekistan is to identify and prioritize recommendations to establish a conducive ecosystem that enables the operations of investors, companies and tech-startups to boost productive investment in Uzbekistan. This assignment covers review of all regulations, policies that affect the operations of Private Equity and Venture Capital vehicles and their target investees, noting the absence of any needed regulations. One sub sector to be assessed in more depth from legal and regulatory perspective is tech enabled start ups.
