Single crystal transducers are able to significantly improve image quality even at deep penetration, something very important when scanning large patients. No other portable has single crystal transducers, as the technology usually is only used on premium level ultrasound machines. The machine also can use the [ 2 - 7 MHz ] X7-2t xMatrix transesophegeal transducer, which has excellent image quality and can image in multiple planes at once as well as image in 4D mode.
